Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, lay leadership, volunteers, hosts and guests at MJE events (collectively “MJE Participants”). MJE employees are required to adhere to the code of conduct and are additionally subject to employee anti-harassment policies and MJE’s employee handbook. View full Code of Conduct here.
Most MJE events (including but not exclusive to parties, retreats, dinners, etc.) are intended for young Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s. We have a few select events that are open to a more general demographic. We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who does not fit all terms and conditions including but not exclusive to age.
Payment & Pricing
MJE accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Program fees are as advertised. Late sign up fees may apply.
IDs are required for all MJE Events.
Program fees are final and not transferable. MJE will not provide refunds in the event that the participant cannot attend the event. If MJE cancels an event; we will make every effort to ensure refunds are issued if applicable.If an event is moved or rescheduled limited refund options may apply.
Credits and rain checks are not available for future events. Program fees are for the specific event they were purchased for and can not be
used towards another event in the future.

Conduct During COVID
Starting in March 2020, we moved all of our programs online. We have been using Zoom, Facebook Live, and other virtual platforms to continue providing classes and social events to our community. As New York City begins to reopen, we are resuming in-person events in accordance with all state and CDC guidelines and conduct ourselves as follows:
- Socially distance at least 6ft apart
- Require and enforce that all guests and attendees are wearing masks
- Have outfitted our room with HEPA filters and open the windows
We are continuing to monitor COVID-19 and update our policies accordingly.
