Who is MJE for?MJE is for young Jewish professionals in their 20s and 30s. MJE welcomes Jews of all religious backgrounds. Most MJE events (including but not exclusive to parties, retreats, dinners, etc.) are intended for less affiliated Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s. We have a few select events that are open to a more general demographic. We reserve the right to deny entry to anyone who does not fit all terms and conditions including but not exclusive to age.

Is MJE religious?MJE and MJE Educators follow Modern orthodox Jewish religious practices and standards. All food and drinks at MJE events are certified Kosher by recognized national and/or regional kosher supervision agencies. However, most MJE community members do not consider themselves Modern Orthodox. We welcome Jews of all religious backgrounds and observance levels. Our doors are open for you to learn and explore your Judaism.

Is MJE a dating service? Do you have singles events? Will I find my soulmate?MJE is not a dating service, but we do host singles events. We can’t guarantee you will find your soulmate. However, there are many Jewish men and women who attend our events and many people have met their current partners and husbands and wives at MJE. There are 300+ MJE couples!

Is MJE only for singles?MJE is not only for singles, we welcome Jews regardless of their relationship status and we have many couples who attend our events.

How much do MJE events cost?MJE’s events vary in cost. Event tickets price range from $10- $60 depending on the event. We also have many events that are FREE. Program fees are as advertised. Late sign up fees may apply. Subsidies are available for those who qualify.

What does MJE do with my personal contact information?When you are making a donation, registering for an event or subscribing to our eNewsletter, we ask you for personal contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email. We will use this contact information to provide you with information or resources you have requested, such as information about MJE, a receipt, or financial report, or we will use your information to contact you to clarify or verify other information, such as a request or a donation you made. Personal contact information is not shared with any organization outside of MJE and our agents.

What does MJE do with our personal billing information?In addition to personal contact information, we ask for billing information, such as your billing address and credit card number and details, when you make a donation. We use secure servers to gather and process your billing information. Your billing information is not shared with any other organizations, and your credit card number is not retained once your transaction has been authorized and processed.

Code of ConductThis Code of Conduct applies to all participants, lay leadership, volunteers, hosts and guests at MJE events (collectively “MJE Participants”). Payment & PricingMJE accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Check, Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Program fees are as advertised. Late sign up fees may apply.

IDsIDs are required for all MJE Events.

RefundsProgram fees are final and not transferable. MJE will not provide refunds in the event that the participant cannot attend the event. If MJE cancels an event; we will make every effort to ensure refunds are issued if applicable.If an event is moved or rescheduled limited refund options may apply. Credits and rain checks are not available for future events. Program fees are for the specific event they were purchased for and can not be used towards another event in the future.
