Mekonen is an acclaimed documentary that follows the personal journey of a young African – Israeli Jewish soldier, as he returns to Africa to explore his roots, make peace with his past and embrace his future in Israel. Moderated discussion to follow, led by visiting MJE Israel Trip tour guide, scholar, lecturer and author Dr. Tuvia Book. Light dinner, drinks, provided.
