FINAL SUMMER HAPPY HOUR & BOOK LAUNCH PARTY!
Wednesday, September 5th | 6-9PM | 131 W 86th St
WE CAN DO IT- FINAL SUMMER HAPPY HOUR
Join us for a night of charity, schmoozing and giving back!
We’re asking everyone attending the open bar/happy hour portion of the night to bring cans of food in exchange for drinks – cans for cans!
Your $10 entry ticket will get you into the event, but we’d love your help collecting food for the needy. With Rosh Hashana (Sept. 9) so close, we want to send tons of cans to food banks and make this Jewish New Year a little sweeter for NYC. To stay in the charitable spirit of the night, all proceeds from the event will be donated to local charities.
You must register for the event to enter – limited tickets will be sold at the door.
So bring a can, come schmooze with fellow do-gooders, and make it a night to remember!
$10 for entry, $25 for entry and discounted book
A NIGHT OF GIVING BACK
Rabbi Mark Wildes will be debuting his new book – Beyond the Instant – to friends, family, book lovers, charity enthusiasts and the larger community. The first chapter delves into the secret of lasting happiness, which scientific studies have shown benfits from volunteering and giving to charity. Rabbi Mark will be selling the book at a discount, donating all profits to charity, and hold a book signing and talk about the importance of altruism in our community.

ABOUT BEYOND THE INSTANT:
‘Beyond the Instant’ — Rabbi Mark Wildes’ first book — demonstrates to young adults how to enrich their lives through spiritual teachings, guiding millennials away from the frenzied, social-media oriented society that’s warping core values. The book examines ten different areas of modern life – including friendship, family, dating, money, and career – to demonstrate how a return to spirituality can help people find happiness and long-term fulfillment.
